2. Entry) Are there are any current situations in the world that relate to the novel? What are they, and how do they relate? Does the novel shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or "fixed"?

The only murders I have heard the last past years was the man killing approximately 33people that happened in the States about two weeks ago. The only thing that relates the novel to this murder is that people have been killed. There might be more crimes that relate to the novel, but this is the only thing that I have heard of. It might be because I am not really interested in what is happening in the world or that there was no crime at all. I don't think there were no crimes because there are so many people living around in this world.
